A CITY CHANGES IN ONE SUMMER!

Cooperation in a City leads to opportunity for young people. This may be a Summer like no other in the City of Buffalo, New York. Buff City Hoops is just one of many groups that has acted like a fishing net in attracting like-minded community groups whose goal is to create a better life for the young people of our City.

Murray Holman is the President of the Stop The Violence Coalition. Their activities are too numerous to mention. On Monday, August 10, 2015, Murray's team showed up at Schiller Park to put on a basketball and life skills program for youngsters. Life isn't just about basketball, STVC teamed up with a Cancer Awareness Group called "Jes Breathe cancer Awareness Group' founded by survivor Gina Davis. The YWAP Director gave a 9 Minute Direction before the start of the basketball program. Race was the topic of the day. You can find the information on our website under "9MD Race." We attack issues head-on, kids need our honesty and integrity. At YWAP, we call it "Power Moment Mentoring" We mentor in the power of the emotional moment that the young people are experiencing.
