When someone talks about being abused, it touches the heart; you feel their pain.
After watching Dominique smile as she spoke of her pain, it was clear that she had given her wounds to Christ.
People often hide from the truth of being abused. They often feel helpless and fearful of what may happen if they try and leave their abuser. It takes an average of seven attempts to finally leave an abusive relationship.

Dominique's smile is almost constant as a joyful exuberance overflows from her heart. Hearing her story about surviving domestic abuse, you might wonder about her ability to smile so much. She gives credit to God for helping her walk through the storms of adversity.
Domestic abuse comes in many forms: emotional, verbal, sexual and physical. The abuser uses fear to control their victim to the point of fearing for her life. Fortunately, Dominique survived and has followed God's plan for her life. She's currently a missionary to Asia and spreading God's Love everywhere she goes.
As a missionary, she does need to raise money. If you would like to donate to her missionary needs, you can do so by using our YWAP PayPal button below. Leave a note that says your generosity is for Dominque.
The video begins with the YWAP Director Bob Kuebler teaching about truth and lies from Ephesians 4:25. each week at Teen Action Night we feature a Nine Minute Life Speaker and a Leadership teaching from the Bible.
