The Foreword - OPPORTUNITY TO RESPOND
The birthplace of creation - the Garden of Eden, is also the birthplace of climate change. The first people God created - Adam and Eve, crossed a boundary they were told to respect. And so it began, the renewable energy of Love created through obedience to God’s boundaries was damaged. The emotional climate of intimacy was fractured by man’s irresponsibility.
On the pages of this book (that used to be a tree,) we’ll look at the world through the eyes of the Heart Farmer and his daughter Beauty. You’ll get to experience a Father’s love for his child, his neighbors and his planet. The farmers daughter has a heart full of questions. Her father is eager to bond with his daughter and responds by sharing his wisdom, insight and knowledge as an old-head.
Each chapter blends the science of climate change with the truths of God’s design for creation. Laughter and learning will be your guides for 21 days. This is a journey that follows the heartbeats of a father and his daughter as they explore the responsibility of responding to Love.
There are many facets of climate change and global warming. The irresponsibility of humankind has never met a boundary that can’t be crossed. This is a book about the interchangeability and compatibility between mankind and the rest of God’s creations.
The earth and everything upon it are under the stewardship of people. The order of responsibility is summed up by Jesus when he said,
“You shall love the Lord your God
with all your heart and with all your soul
and with all your mind (intellect).
This is the great (most important, principal) and first commandment.
And a second is like it:
You shall love your neighbor as [you do] yourself.”
Matthew 22:37-39 AMPC
Methinks this was Jesus’ way of saying, put God first, people second and the planet third. Stewardship of our planet is respecting what God created. Imagine a world that responds to a revival of responsibility in the order that God intended. That would create a Global Heart-Warming in Heaven!
So what can you do? How can you respond? Do your best to approach every interaction as an opportunity to create a response to love. When folks respond to Love, I call that response a “Heart-Smile.” That’s Global Heart-Warming at its finest!
One thing we know for sure as we stand on the promises of God. He made the world and only He can remove the world from existence. There will come a day when He creates a new heaven and a new earth, but only He knows when that day or hour will happen. Until then - in all things - respond in love.

will be destroyed,

will never be destroyed!

Only the Father knows.

the former earth

and there no longer existed any sea.”
