Over and over the circle of life continues its falling and rising. Out of the ashes beauty rises again. A grain of wheat falls to the ground in death only to bring forth abundant fruit. Trees shed leaves in the fall to make room for fresh buds in spring. The circle of life continues.
Resilience, perseverance, and persistence are benchmarks of new beginnings. Some folks only see storms while others focus on the calm after the storm. They have chosen the mindset that says, “This too shall pass. There’s better days ahead.”
Climbers who die on Mt. Everest are left on the mountain. It’s too dangerous to risk a life in retrieving the dead. All of us were dead on the mountain of our own selfishness until a new beginning was birthed through death.
God chose to give a Life to retrieve us from a death devoid of new beginnings. Jesus died on a cross to destroy the power of sin and never-ending death as the new beginning of a Life Story.
Christ died and fell from a cross like a leaf falling from a tree. He rose again like a bud in the spring. A life given to Christ sows the seeds of many new beginnings. Storms will not cease, but the calms within the storms will increase.
Look for the bud beyond the fall. Look for the calm beyond the storm. Look for a lake filled with fresh water after the snow. Look for the sunrise after the sunset. Look for the garden harvest after the seed falls in broken ground.
Be still, be calm - know that God allowed your struggles to give you strength to walk on Higher Ground. Bad times will come. Hard times will pass. All times pass through God’s hands on their Way to His Heart.

“But you should be strong.
Don’t give up,
because you will get a reward
for your good work.”
2 Chronicles 15:7 ICB
“You plotted evil against me,
but God turned it into good,
in order to preserve
the lives of many people
who are alive today
because of what happened.”
Genesis 50:20 GNT
“I alone know the plans I have for you, plans to bring you prosperity and not disaster, plans to bring about the future you hope for.”
