BWAP XVII will go down in history as the first time that a 9MD Speaker gave money for the right answer. 9MD Speaker gave away money. Rev. Gene Coplin told the young men he would give $3 to the first person to answer this question:
"What part of your anatomy gets you in the most trouble?" Within seconds, a young man raised his hand and gave his answer, "Your mouth!" Everyone smiled as Rev. Coplin handed the young man the money and he pocketed his $3.
As a younger man, Rev. Gene made some decisions that almost cost him 35 years in jail. He saw a book by Billy Graham called, "Peace With God." On the cover of the book was a Bible verse from Jeremiah 29:13, " And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart." Rev. Coplin never spent more than 20 minutes in jail and his life was altered forever.
Possibly the greatest message of the night were these 4 words, "I'm expecting God today!"
Rev. Gene spoke them and everyone in the room repeated them.There is a new level of expectation in the hearts of the BWAP guys. Expectations of God lead to God creations. Thank's Rev. Coplin for a great message.
