Black mambas and flashlights were used for a couple of object lessons by Pastor Brek Cockrell at BWAP XLIII on Thursday, March 17, 2016. He urged the inner-city young men to make wise decisions about where you walk in life.
Walk as wise and not as unwise. (Ephesians 5:15) He asked the young men to repeat a question; "Right or wrong is not our cue, but what's the wise thing to do?" Pastor Brek related a sad story about a 21 yr. old girl losing her life from drinking too much alcohol on her 21st birthday. He urged the young men to make wise decisions.
A group of ladies from the "Ladies Night Out Bible Study" served the BWAP young men a delicious dinner. They didn't just stay in the kitchen either! They came out and shared a meal with the guys in true relationship building style.
People change when they hear good messages about living a better life. Pastor Brek and the ladies from Renovation Church came and made the young men feel special. BWAP says thank you to the ladies and Pastor Brek. Jesus loves you and so do we.
