Buffalo, NY is a long way from the country of Haiti. The love of a Father covers unimaginable distances. On Thursday, November 17, 2016 we celebrated a BWAP Thanksgiving with Pastor Darrick Castronova from the Well Buffalo who brought his adopted son Isaac to BWAP LXXVII.
When someone talks about the love of God through the evidence of their life testimony, Truth is taken to a higher level. Pastor Darrick knows how to talk to young people. He knows their hearts and feels their pain. His words of love in action give them hope for a better future.
Adoption is something that reflects God's love in a unique and special way. Darrick and his wife Jodi have adopted two children, have two of their own and are probably father and mother figures to many more children. They have a heart for fatherless children.
Parenting skills are not inherently learned by fatherless children. Our goal at BWAP is to help young people become Christ-centered role models who mentor the younger generation. Thank you Pastor Darrick and Isaac for being Christ-like in sharing your hearts with the young people at BWAP. Jesus loves you and so do we.
