Bad things will happen, hard times will come. Hard work pays off, God will guide you. Those words would be a good way to describe the message brought by the RiseUp Family at BWAP XCVI.
Working hard is the message Eddie Jackson carries as a professional football player. He learned that from his Mom and it will carry him to a tryout for the Detroit Lions.
Addictions to drugs, alcohol and sex are the norms of street life. Desmond Hill advised the young people to stay away from life on the streets. He offered to help find them jobs! The 16-30 yr. old young men took note of that!
Plenty of hard times have hit Andre Robinson. His very demeanor speaks loudly "You will overcome!" The name "RiseUp" could easily describe Andre's perseverance through hard times. He knows how to get back up. He took the time to ask the young men about their dreams and then he coached them on what they should do to achieve them.
It was another great BWAP night for a few other reasons. The RiseUp Family was broadcasting live from the BWAP Headquarters at City Reach Buffalo. They put on a great show and even invited the BWAP guys to be a part of the show.
