Youth is a sad time to die. Mike was a husband, dad, son, brother, friend, employee and a friend of Jesus. His life was cut short by a murderers anger. Young men are empty and they don't know why.
Wild parties, sex, alcohol, drugs, stealing, killing and destroying are all attempts at filing the emptiness. Killing is disguised as a "justice-is-served" as gangsters murder folks who won't play their dirty games.
Anger is birthed in emptiness. Young men feel angry at the emptiness in their souls. Most of it is due to the dad they never had. Now another family has lost a dad and the generational cycle of killing dads continues in Buffalo.
Piling up on street corners in the cities of America are the dead bodies of empty young men. Feeling empty and bitter without knowing the real reason why causes guys to grab at anything to fill the empty hole in their hearts. Nothing works, except for God.
If you're a killer reading this and you think that somebody deserves to die and it's not you, please think again. Nobody deserves to die and we all need to be held accountable. Nobody is perfect and we all deserve a second chance or maybe even a third. It's not your call to execute justice. The Bible says that Revenge is God's business. I pity the poor fool who gets in God's way.
