Young folks and old folks gathered in Buffalo's Fruit Belt for a Slow Roll Buffalo on a rainy July evening. Several of the children received donated bikes and YWAP youngsters were among them!
​ Wet and smiling, the riders followed Buffalo Police through the Fruit Belt streets. GObike Buffalo and the East Side Bike Club made some children smile through their generosity.
​ A lot of organizations collaborated as good neighbors often do. Here is a partial list of Slow Rollers, None Like You, YWAP, Catholic Health, Buffalo Police, Bert's Bikes, GObike Buffalo and the East Side Bike Club.

When the children from YWAP went to build bikes at the East Side Bike Club, they traveled aboard the YWAP Van. Last week the YWAP Van took a slow roll to the repair shop. After a few hours, the mechanic gave a slow roll to his head as he said it wasn't worth putting any more money into.
​ We have been given the opportunity to purchase another YWAP Van. Some kind folks have donated $4,000 toward the purchase. We still need about $4,600. If you know someone who would like to help sponsor the latest version of the YWAP Van, please let us know. Leave a message or call 716-830-8240.
