When many community organizations collaborate together, great things happen in Buffalo, NY.
After the UB students arrived, they listened to presentations from community groups who provide services.
People represented the following organizations; Ivy Lea Construction, the University Heights Collaborative, the Erie County Restorative Justice Coalition and a Representative from the NYS Health Insurance Dept.
Mrs. Triggs from None Like You/We Care Outreach was the driving force behind a great day for the residents at Commodore Perry Housing Complex. Her volunteers cooked a nice chili dinner. The UB Students and Buffalo Police delivered chili and bags with helpful information along with Jesus Wristbands from Youth With A Purpose. The Students were escorted by Buffalo Police as they visited residents in the housing complex. Each one received a chili dinner with helpful information.
Coming up next is the "Big Easter Family Fest" which will be held in the same location, 279 Perry. Thank you everyone who shared your valuable time. #nonelikeyou
