ALPHA & OMEGA - A UNIQUE WORSHIP EXPERIENCE AT A RUSSIAN CHURCH

     Young Hee has been the driving force behind the First Saturday Worship Concerts at the Slavonic Christian Church on Englewood Avenue in Buffalo, NY.
     Worship music is multi-faceted and unique to each individual. Everyone has their own (hopefully) personal relationship with God. Different styles of music can all be worship if the heart of the musician is in tune with the Holy Spirit.
     An abundance of God stories fill the spaces in between each portion of worship. I told a story about a one legged mountain climber named Todd Huston who climbed all 50 United States Highpoints in record time. He told everyone he met; "With faith in God you can overcome anything!"  There just happened to be a man with one leg named Benny at the Church on Saturday night. After the concert he asked to speak to me for a few minutes.
      People passing each other in life seldom take time to search out the "God-reasons" for such a meeting. Benny told me that he believed God brought us together. He told me his story and expressed to me his goal of climbing Mt. Jo in the Adirondacks, He said that so far he had no one who was able to go with him. My wife and I have climbed Mt. Jo and would love to accompany him as he accomplishes that goal. Hopefully we can make that happen in late August of this year. We believe that Benny will stand on top of Mt. Jo with Jesus. Please pray for Benny as he trains for Mt Jo and the others mountains in his life. Thank you.
