Yuletide greetings and Christmas wishes are dirty words to some folks. Lonely, discouraged, rejected and abandoned, they feel no joy during the Jesus Season.
When someone falls down with nobody to help them up, we all should feel some responsibility. Whatever your limitations might be, you can do something. You can give a gift.
All people deserve to know how much God is crazy in love with them. You don't have to act overly spiritual or religious, just do something that makes someone feel valued and cared about.
Prayer is as easy as talking to your cat. God is a simple yet extravagant God. Simple conversations from a position of humility can open up the windows of heaven. Even if you don't believe in God, take a risk and and act show someone some love. That's what God would have you do as you are able.
Some folks fall down and can't get up without help.
Believing in someone is a way of lifting people up into their potential.
We still have a need for some Christmas Dinners if you would like to help a family.
A CHRISTMAS PRAYER
There are folks who fall with no one to help them up again.
There are folks who simply don't know how to do right.
There are folks embittered by hardened hearts.
There are folks in bondage to addiction.
There are folks jailed by bars of their own choosing.
There are folks who feel inadequate with never enough.
There are folks too old and don't even know.
There are folks too young to understand old.
Who will you pray for at Christmas?
May I suggest the one whom God will place in your life if you ask Him.
Seek the one who falls and can't get up.
God I pray that you will show me the fallen with no one to help them up. Amen
