Women have to be strong and some of these ladies were winning battles against addiction. We're proud of them.
A lot of the ladies stepped forward and gave their personal stories of overcoming hard times.
Perseverance and resilience marked the inspirational words from these women. They came to be treated special, but they made everyone feel special with stories about their courage in the face of adversity.
Once again hats off to Mrs. Elizabeth Triggs for planning the event and gathering collaborators from far and wide. The leftover food was delivered in the YWAP Van from Towne Ford to Unity House - a residential program for men in recovery from addiction. Several ladies from area shelters were among the honorees at Mother's Day celebration held at the Dnipro Center on Sycamore St in Buffalo, NY.
The Brunch began with prayer and God was given credit for the stories of life redemption. Thank you to all who volunteered their time and those who attended.
