DEAR SHOOTER - I KNOW WHY YOU KILL
Part I

Dear Shooter,
            I hope your day was filled with heart smiles. My letter today is addressed to all shooters - the guys who pick up a gun and shoot somebody. It might be a gun, a knife, a baseball bat or anything else used to kill somebody. I don't know everything about your life, but I've learned a few things about killers. Can you spare a few minutes of your time? My words might give you a reason to stop killing and save your Mom from crying when you die. I know why you kill.
            Shooters believe they get power from a gun. Shooters believe they get respect from their killing peers when they show the ultimate disrespect for a mother's son. Shooters believe that honor comes from being crazy enough to do anything to impress fellow gang members. Shooters believe they love their Mama's, but it ain't so.

A Shooter will say he loves his Mama,
But that's a lie -
If you loved your Mom,
You wouldn't be a shooter
And make your Mama cry.
Yeah,
The boy you bodied was a mama's boy
 And you are too.
Your Mom gave you life
Hoping you would live life to the fullest.
Taking a life only shortens your life
And makes a mama cry.
Don't make your mama cry.
Get rid of the gun
Before you become
The bodied mama's boy.
Everything in life
Comes full circle.
Jesus loves you and so do we.

Why the Shooter Kills Reason #1

1. You don't really love your Mama.

A Mom gives life and a shooter gives death.
A Mom gives life and a shooter takes life away from a Mom.
Your Mama gave you life.
Even if she is a lousy Mom,
she's the reason why you live.
Even if you think you have a lousy life,
God has a plan and a purpose for your life.
Plans of hope and plans for a future.
Life is hard sometimes, I know,
but struggle makes you stronger.
Life gets beautiful when you give instead of taking.
Become a giver instead of a shooter.
The farmer gives his seed to the ground so that it will grow into food.
The athlete gives his body to weightlifting so that he will grow muscle.
The husband gives his seed to his wife so that they will grow a family.
The mama gives her love to her children so that they will grow love.
 
Dear Shooter,
Give life before death takes life away from you,
Stop taking life from a Mama's boy.
Part of the emptiness in your heart is from not knowing how to love your mom.
Do you want to learn how to fill the emptiness in your heart?
Become a giver and God will fill the emptiness in your heart.
A Father gave His only Son so that whoever believes in Him would have life - a full life. God gave Jesus to die and pay the price for all of our shootings. Stop shooting and live.
