It was a beautiful day in the mountainhood despite the fact that grilling wasn't allowed due to fire restrictions. Nonetheless we did serve hotdogs cooked on a roller and the smiles were hot with an awesome fire of friendliness!
One prayer team had a lucrative hike into the surrounding neighborhoods. One man they talked to followed them back to our corner at 4th & 7th. He gave his life to Christ and asked to learn more about living a Jesu-style of life. We prayed with him and gave him a Bible along with Jesus Wristbands. One of our Prayer Team members Max, picked Brian up for church on Sunday.
Normally we have food boxes with assorted grocery items to give away. Today we found that fresh produce is a bigger hit! Folks stopped by for produce and prayer! One guy showed up with a Pitbull on the back of his motorcycle. The dog's name was Cousin. Sometimes it's just simply about forming relationships with people. Gaining trust builds a platform that helps you earn the right to speak into someone's life.
