IF YOUR LIFE SMELLS

if your life was a pair of eye glasses
on the bridge of a child's nose,
would they  vision be?

If your life was a drink of water
poured into a thirsty child's throat,
would you be bitter or sweet?

If your life was the sound of music
playing loudly in a child's ear,
would you be an upbeat melody?

If your life was a pair of hands
controlled by a busy child,
would they serve a neighbor?

If your life was a smell
flowing into a child's nose,
would you be the fragrance of knowledge?

"Watch what God does, and then you do it,
like children who learn proper behavior from their parents.
Mostly what God does is love you.
Keep company with him and learn a life of love.
Observe how Christ loved us.
His love was not cautious but extravagant.

but to give everything of himself to us.
