When do you know that it's time to leave a relationship? Whose fault is it that your relationship is not working? Are you committed to an uncommitted person?
Always check your own heart first. Never stay in a physically abusive relationship, that should be a no-brainer. Unfortunately many folks stay out of fear of what could be worse.
Plan your relationships by studying what healthy boundaries look like. Mutual respect and sacrifice should be a goal of both people in the relationship. A relationship is not based on a 50-50 understanding. There will be days when one person is not even capable of giving 10% due to illness or stress. Be prepared to give 100%.
Your love has grown cold,
Your heart is covered with mold.
Your eyes are continuously rolled.
Your tongue does nothing but scold.
Your hands forgot how to have and to hold.
Your mind can still be renewed and bold.
You've waited to see the change in him not you.
You've waited to return to the love you once knew.
You've waited to be understood in your narrow view.
You've waited to be served as your piety grew.
You've waited to complain to anyone with gossip you threw.
You've waited to find truth in what you knew was untrue
All you can do is give up your hope.
All you can do is find help just to cope.
All you can do is act infallible like the Pope.
All you can do is find fault as you grope.
All you can do is complain at the end of your rope.
All you can do is watch love slide down a slippery slope.
Who is to blame for your love's destruction?
Who is to blame for your soul's infection?
Who is to blame for your hearts rejection?
Who is to blame for your mind's disconnection?
Who is to blame for your strength's defection?
Who is to blame for your lack of belief in resurrection?
If you've done all you can and you've surrendered to God, it's between you and Him whatever you do. Is it time to shake the dust off your feet and move on? That's between you and God. Be careful what you seek, what you find is what you'll keep. We all need to change as we grow. Focusing on others will cause us to stagnate like a mosquito infested swamp. Ask God to help you renew your mind, stay safe, grow in wisdom and consider the impact of your decisions on those around you.

Matthew 7:7
“Ask, and it will be given to you;
seek, and you will find;
knock, and it will be opened to you."
Matthew 7:7-12 The Message
“Don’t bargain with God. Be direct. Ask for what you need. This isn’t a cat-and-mouse, hide-and-seek game we’re in. If your child asks for bread, do you trick him with sawdust? If he asks for fish, do you scare him with a live snake on his plate? As bad as you are, you wouldn’t think of such a thing. You’re at least decent to your own children. So don’t you think the God who conceived you in love will be even better? 12 “Here is a simple, rule-of-thumb guide for behavior: Ask yourself what you want people to do for you, then grab the initiative and do it for them. Add up God’s Law and Prophets and this is what you get.
