Cancer, Chemo & A COMEBACK IN CHRIST!
Young people at Teen Action Night III listened to a great comeback story at The Bread of Life Center of Hope.
When Ken Metzger urged them to never give up, he also showed them the benefits of never giving up.
All people will face hard times. Ken urged the crowd to hold on to the fact that God is "Crazy in love with you!"
Preparing for good times and hard times is best done by knowing God's promises as told in the Bible. Ken quoted several verses that carried great meaning for him. He also gave all the young people and the YWAP Mentors a free copy of his book "The Potter's Perfect Piece." It's a great book with an inspirational story about how God shapes us through good and hard times. We also began a new custom; we taped the weekly Bible verses from the Bible Study Booklets on both sides of the volleyball net.
We're grateful to Ken Metzger for being a living role model of resilience for young people and old-heads too. Thanks Ken. Jesus loves you and so do we.
