The YWAP Team spent all day Wednesday (12-18-13) at Lockport High School. We arrived at about 7:30am and left around 2:30. We spoke to 9 classes of students about avoiding drugs and alcohol.
We focused on building healthy relationships - starting with yourself. The students were told that they were perfect and unique just as they are. We then gave them the YWAP Formula for success in every area of their lives: 4S + ES = Success. That's the 4 Seasons of Change plus Embracing Struggle. All growth starts with conflict, avoiding conflict results in stagnation.
Every class was filled with students who made us feel welcome and respected. The Teachers were fabulous and so were the folks in the Main Office. Lockport High School is a great place to be!
