Yesterday, today and forever - some folks might be tempted to use those words to describe the rains over Buffalo! None of it matter to the young folks at Lovebuffalo 2017.
Walking in many waters with a smile, that's what the young folks from North Gate Church and the Wesleyan Church of Hamburg did this morning. Heart-rain - a downpour of love that washes away heart-stain.
Abundant heart-smiles were found among sledge hammers and soggy trips to the dumpster. It was a short day for the crew. Tomorrow they will finish up several projects around the city.
Paradise is not a word most folks would use to describe a wet, damp and smelly old building being gutted. These young folks created paradise by their willingness to be grateful for the opportunity to serve in less than perfect conditions. We're proud and honored to know them.
