Young people from North Gate Buffalo and the Hamburg Wesleyan Church donned dust masks and goggles as they hammered apart an old building in the Broadway Market area of Buffalo, NY.
​ When they went through the building they found two interesting items. A cross made from clothespins and an old picture of Jesus.
​ As they worked in the shadow of three crosses on top of a nearby church, several spiritual lessons began to sink in. Get rid of the old self would be a good comparison to gutting a building in preparation for a new construction.
​ Plenty of work remains to be done. We look forward to more work, prayer and Holy Spirit insight on why we are here on the East Side of Buffalo.
