There's no slowing down during the Summer for the YWAP Team. We visited Niagara Falls High School on Wednesday, July 22, 2015. Rodney Alaimo from the Niagara County Youth Bureau is a guy who's making a huge impact on the lives of thousands of young people. Rodney invited us to share some of our insights into street life and the dangers of not using your potential.
Today's YWAP Program focused on painting a picture of the future possibilities for young people who learn who to embrace the struggles of life as a pathway to success. We examined the true facts about how the brain matures in relationship to our decision-making abilities. Using true stories of young people who ended up dead, in jail or simply not living up to their potential, we painted a real life picture of the consequences that materialize from bad decision making. The students were great, involved and respectful. Thank's guys, it was a privilege and an honor to spend time with you.
