SOMEBODY REMOVED OUR POST!
Yeah, sometimes our attempts at humor may seem
like a feeble advertisement, we apologize for that.
We have watched children die with bullets in their brains.
We have watched homeless children plead for a place to stay.
We watch hungry children - hungry for food and affection -
come into our Youth Center day after lonely day.
We visit children in jail, whose parents were in jail.
We have a passion to give young people
an opportunity to help themselves.
Maybe some folks would choose to support kids trying to make something out of their lives instead of making a political donation. I suppose you give where your heart is.
Please forgive us if our passion to show love and compassion
has spilled over onto your parade.
