Great would be a good word to describe the Youth With A Purpose Inc. Board Meeting last night at Mr. & Mrs. Law's house. Several prospective new Board members joined us. We discussed the possibility of changing our Mission Statement which currently says: "We help inner-city young people build solutions to poverty and violence."
One thing that we know will cause a young person to leave a life of violence is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Maybe our Mission Statement should reflect that.
