The young lady walked into Pastor Al's office at the Martha Mitchell Center and said: "Can I leave my bike here Dad?" Pastor Al smiled, stood up and gave the lady a hug. He then proceeded to tell us how proud he was. "This lady has just raised her reading level from the 2nd Grade all the way up to the 8th Grade! I am so proud of her!"
Pastor Al isn't just a director of a Community Center, he's a father figure to a whole community, and HE NEEDS YOUR HELP!
Last month YWAP partnered with Teen Challenge to help stock a pantry that gives food to folks in need. Today we took him our last van load of food. Would you like to partner with us in our adoption of the Kenfield/Langfield Homes Neighborhood?

On Thursday night at Expressway Assembly, we play ball, eat good food and learn some life lessons. From 7-9 pm, guys from 18-30 are invited to BWAP - Basketball With A Purpose. It's another YWAP event in the Kenfield/Langfield area. Meeting Pastor Al gives our hearts an extra portion of compassion.
