Silvia (on the left) and Mama used to work in our Youth Center. Tragedy struck Mama's family when Her Dad was hit by a stray bullet while fixing his granddaughters pink bike. This family has dealt with their tragedy with the same character that they have always had. They show love for their neighbors.
Silvia was laid off because of funding cuts to Youth With A Purpose. She still volunteers at our Youth Center because her heart is so good. At YWAP, we want to provide more opportunities for young people. We are kind of like a "Loaves and Fishes" outfit; We have very little in the way of finances but every year thousands of young people are presented with an opportunity to learn about building healthy relationships. A little love in a young persons life is like a mustard seed that starts small and grows humongously!
