They threw their problems at me! I asked the students at Buffalo School #32 to write down what they wanted to get rid of in their lives. When everyone was done, I instructed them to throw them at me in the front of the class. After they had fun, and smiled, they were told to pick up one of the crumpled pieces of paper and return to their seat. One by one we opened the paper balls and read them out loud. After each one, we discussed the problem and how we might deal with it if it happened to us. It was peer mentoring at its finest and we smiled a lot as our burdens seemed to be lifted with a little help from our friends.
